1Bit Jam - Corporate Hell

Welcome to Corporate Hell, our submission for the 1Bit Jam! Created in two weeks using the Godot Engine, this game takes a unique approach to the "Tower" theme, swapping out the usual fantasy towers for a more familiar, corporate one.

📈 Game Concept

In Corporate Hell, you’ll step into the shoes of an ambitious employee vying for success in the competitive world of office politics. Rather than scaling a literal tower, you’ll rise through the corporate ranks by defeating your colleagues with card play. Every victory pushes you one step closer to promotion, until you’re at the top of the corporate ladder.

Key Features:

  • Strategic Gameplay: Defeat your rivals with tactical cardplay.
  • Satirical Corporate Theme: Experience the world of business with a humorous twist.
  • Minimalist Aesthetic: Stylish, 1-bit pixel art in a two-color palette, staying true to the jam’s restrictions.
  • Promotion System: Earn your way to the top by defeating progressively tougher colleagues and bosses.

🚀 How to Play:

  • Click to Play Cards: Use your cards strategically to defeat your colleagues.
  • Earn Coins: Each victory rewards you with coins that you can use to buy new cards and strengthen your deck.
  • Manage Your Rage Meter: Keep an eye on your rage meter! Don’t let it run out, or you'll lose your chance at promotion.
